The Controlled Test
Don't forget that the exam is almost upon us. Dates and times are as follows...
Session 1
Monday 22nd May
11-12.30
Hall (Higher Tier), Gym (Foundation Tier)
Session 2
Wednesday 24th May
11-12.30
Hall (Higher Tier), Gym (Foundation Tier)
The key thing now is to plan all your answers thoroughly and have a go at practising them under test conditions - 45 minutes per task.
Don't forget to bring everything you need with you - pens, fineliners, pencils, colour pencils, rulers, erasers etc. And please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early!!

Competition Winners!
At last it's time to announce the winners of the Comics Competition. The standard was extremely high amongst the 150 entries we received from (almost) every Year 11 Media Studies student and this is very encouraging for the exam in a few week's time - it shows that you have great design skills (essential for Task 4) and you understand the conventions of comics well (crucial for the whole exam!)
It was a tough job picking the winners - who each will receive a £15 prize - but the fifteen chosen are superb and fully deserve their success. You are bound to agree so please post some comments after the ones you personally think are the best of the best, giving some reasons why.
So, the moment you've all been waiting for - enjoy reading some fantastic work and congratulations to all the following...
